Yeah! The first annual National Wine Tourism Day is being celebrated on Saturday, May 11, 2013! Special events around the country are being held that day to honor the grape that brings us "the liquid of the gods!" Wineries, hotels, restaurants, and other wine tourism businesses, like Hallauer House Bed & Breakfast, are offering special events and special deals to celebrate the importance (and fun) of wine tourism.
North Coast Grapevine Tours in Lorain is offering a special tour, visiting 4 wineries, sampling wines at each stop, and having lunch at one of them. We thought it would be great to offer a deal also. If you read our previous post about Inn Rewards, you will see our special deal for guests coming to us from that website. We are extending that deal to anyone who is celebrating WINE and visiting Ohio wineries on May 11, 2013. That deal is: stay with us one or two nights and upon check-in receive a complimentary bottle of Ohio Wine from one of our local wineries and a snack tray of cheese and crackers.
