January Specials!

Now that the holiday whirlwind is behind us, it's time to move on into the deepfreeze of January! So what is there to do in Oberlin this time of year! Well, January is the month of Martin Luther King's birthday and February is Black History Month, so in honor of these two events we are going to offer a special on our History Buff Package. The Package offers 2 nights of accommodations with full 3 course breakfast each morning, a copy of the book by Nat Brandt - The Town That Started the Civil War, Underground Railroad stories,
tickets to the Oberlin Heritage Center, a handmade Civil War penny rug from Personalized Primitives,
a $50.00 dinner coupon, 2 tickets to the Apollo movie theatre, and one night of 'decadant dessert'. The regular price for all of these fantastic items is $360.00 if you stay in the Union or Confederate Room and $460.00 if you stay in the Mason/Dixon Suite. But for the month of January 2008, the price is reduced by 10% making the package rate $324.00 and $414.00 respectively.

AND because it's cold outside and you're probably getting a little 'cabin fever' at your own abode, we invite you to get out, get some fresh air, and motor on over to Hallauer House for a change of scenery! Tell us you want our January Deal - stay 1 night and receive a 10% discount on the room rate but stay 2 or more nights and receive a 20% discount!
The college students are gone for winter break so Oberlin is quiet but still full of life. Movies, some recent releases, are still $2.00 and $3.00 at the Apollo, the museums are open, coffee shops are quiet, merchants are open for business, and the restaurants have no waiting, except Lorenzo's Pizza! It's always busy! Could that be because they have great pizza?! So if a change of scenery is what you need, don't hesitate! Give us a call! You know you want to!
