Just some reminders to high school seniors who have been accepted to and have decided to attend Oberlin College in the fall of 2009. Oberlin Freshman Orientation is scheduled to begin with dorm move-in on Aug. 25 -http://new.oberlin.edu/calendar/ and 
Parent's Weekend is scheduled for Nov. 6 -8, 2009. We strongly advise you to make reservations NOW if you want to be close to campus as all B & B's and the Oberlin Inn fill up very quickly. Here at Hallauer House, we are already booked for those dates but we will take back ups as cancellations in the past have occurred. It is always wise to build a relationship with a B & B so that you will have a place to call your 'home away from home' while you child is at Oberlin College. and it also helps when commencement time draws near. And stay tuned for information on April's "All Roads Lead To Oberlin" program. We'll post information when it is available and give you the link to the College web page.

If you are coming for "All Roads" in April we do have dates open, as most students don't know if they have been accepted yet. So get those reservations in as soon as you get that important letter in the mail!!!! Hope to see you in April or sometime during your Freshman year! Congratulations early!
